Night Procession of the Thaipusam 2014 is the journey back to the Temple located in George Town, Penang from the Temple in Waterfall Garden or better known as the Penang Botanic Garden.

The Chariot Procession – the Return Journey
The 120-year-old silver chariot bearing the statue, reportedly to be gold, of Lord Muruga made its 9 km return journey from the Nattukotai Chettiar Temple in Jalan Air Terjun aka Waterfall Road back to the Kovil Veedu located at Penang Street, George Town, at 6.00 pm on Saturday, 18 January, 2014. The Chariot passed through Jalan Air Terjun, Gottlieb Road, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Cantonment Road, Macalister Road, Anson Road, Burmah Road, Transfer Road, Sri Bahari Road, Penang Road, Campbell Street, Buckingham Street, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling or Pitt Street, Chulia Street, Queen Street, Market Street, Penang Street, China Street, Beach Street, and Lebuh Pasar. The Chariot was expected to reach the Kovil Veedu at around 8.00 am Sunday morning.
