More types of Nyonya Kuih (Cakes) & the Nyonya and Baba makers

Kuih Talam
A sweet double layered Nyonya Kuih/Cake with a white coloured coconut milk topping as the upper layer, with a green pandan-flavoured sweet pudding of flour as the bottom layer. It is one of my personal favourite nyonya kuih.

Kuih Kocu Santan
Banana leaf-wrapped nyonya with coconut milk (santan in Malay). As we did not buy a piece of this cake so there is no unwrapped sight of the actual cake here.

Another two variety of banana leaf-wrapped Nyonya Kuih – the Pulut Inti, a bluish and white steamed glutinous rice with coconut milk and a top filling of sweet grated coconut flesh with brown sugar. Kuih Kocu is without coconut milk. No real cake is shown here.

Popiah Chee
A salty and smaller version of Spring Roll with crispy outer skin containing vegetables like turnips, carrots and tofu inside as filling. The small roll goes very with chilly sauce.
