Arahant Upagutta Celebration and Prayers at Dhammikarama Buddhist Burmese Temple, Penang also took place this Sunday of 3/12/2017. These prayers were arranged very much earlier and was conducted in the early morning. Dana offerings were also made on this day. The funeral ceremony followed after the dana. It is said that 70 Buddhist Monks or Bhantes of Burmese descent from many parts of the world and Burma attended this funeral. About 40 buses of Buddhist devotees of Burmese descent attended this funeral too.
