No internet so No post   3 comments

No internet so No post

After 2 days without internet, it is back but through my handphone instead. My sincere apologies, folks.

No internet for the paymaster by TM Steamyx – as my son used this for his work so he has priority. The shared Modem/WiFi was re-configurated, along with other things but my computer downstairs was not treated similarly thus was ignored by the TM  Technician. No internet at all and no links for me the one footing the monthly payment. Repairing without total completely repairing so shall I pay next month??? That is a good question, folks.

Street Fighter V

From Wikipedia:-
Street Fighter (ストリートファイター Sutorīto Faitā?), commonly abbreviated as SF or スト, is a fighting game franchise by Capcom. The game’s playable characters originate from different countries around the world, each with his or her own unique fighting style. It is Capcom’s second best-selling franchise, having significant success worldwide. With its first game released in 1987 and the game has evolved through the years as well as through its many iterations, remains one of the most popular video games today.

Street Fighter V (ストリートファイターV Sutorīto Faitā Faivu?) is a fighting video game published by Capcom, who co-developed the game with Dimps. It is the fifth main numbered entry in the Street Fighter series. The game was released in February 2016 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4, with a later release on Linux, and will feature cross-platform play between the Windows and PlayStation 4 versions.

I am proud to state that my son, Lim Chuan Shin, is part of the Arts Design Team of the latest fighting game franchise of Capcom – Street Fighter V, which is currently performing very well.
Chuan Shin’s comment on Facebook : “Great to be part of Street Fighter V. Thanks for the credit Streamline and Capcom!”

From Wikipedia:-
Street Fighter V (2016)
Main article: Street Fighter V
In 2011, former Capcom employee Seth Killian suggested that Street Fighter V would arrive before 2019, saying “If I have anything to say about it, and I do, you will not have to wait ten years for Street Fighter 5.” In July 2013, Ono commented that while he desired to make a Street Fighter V for an eighth-generation console, such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a next-generation game would require a large staff and a large budget. He also stated that making the game a free-to-play title was an option, though he was not fully open to it, and confirmed that the game was currently not in development. In June 2014, Ono refuted claims that Street Fighter V would include a “pay to win option”, stating that Street Fighter V is still in the early planning stages.

On December 5, 2014, a teaser trailer for Street Fighter V was unintentionally released by Capcom to the public before being taken down again. The trailer mentioned that the game would be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PC, and will enable cross platform gameplay. The official announcement was made at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event on December 6. It is currently due for release in spring 2016.

Leave of absence from Blogging   Leave a comment

To my fellow bloggers and followers,

To earn the additional cost of living for myself with the new GST, I shall be away for a week from home and my CPU. So Happy Greetings and Congratulations to whatever success you achieve when I am not around and also no blogging for the period. Good night, folks.

Lightning strike “fried” our modem / routers   Leave a comment

As Buddha said, life is uncertain but death is certain, so after the TM technicians fixed the internet for it to go faster a bit, we had this thunderstorm last four days ago. With the strike of a single bolt of lightning, both our Wi-Fi Modem/Routers lost their “lives”. I am back to square one with slower internet but at least online again.
My elder son. Sean has a modem/router for his work and I hitched on his broadband while Shin has another one for his online studies with TAD of USA. So, two modem/router had to be replaced. Sean bought onr for RM399.00 while Shin has also need to purchase for his submission of his course assignments.

Malaysia Tak Boleh – Telekoms Malaysia charges a lot and lousy service. When my son called for help to connect to internet with new router and modem, they tell you to go to seek help from the computer shop you buy from! What ridiculous service provider! The other son complained straight to the Manager and had better response.

Drape Your Dashboard In Living Color.

More colourful and easier to use the dashboard from today. Definitely, the choice of 8 range of colours was quite difficult but eventually I chose the brown earthly tones. Thanks, WordPress and the administrators for free addition.

Life at 62 – Celebrating a Senior Citizen’s Birthday   Leave a comment

Sometimes being on Facebook makes you many cyber-friends and the friends you knew before the internet age. Getting many birthday wishes can be heart-warming and happy as you still have friends who remembered but from the reminder on the Facebook’s birthday list on the right column. So after getting more than 50 birthday wishes to-date. This is my acknowledgement on Facebook ….
“Thank you for the Birthday greetings, so I was thinking of this long-winded statements about my life to-date …
Life at 62 ( like Beatles’ song ” When I am 64 ” )
Life is smooth but sometimes sad passage,
If one can reach this age,
Loneliness strikes as missing loved ones,
My wife, my dad,
So very sad.
Life goes on so, must endure and enjoy,
Younger life was time to toil,
Not financially rich but not overly over-debt,
Still can sleep soundly but mostly over-slept.
( End of Part 1 – shall continue when I come back )

Loneliness can be of one’s choice,
Or one can fill the home with happy, cheerful noise,
With two sons and three dogs,
With a helpful companion so I can still write my blogs,
Find solace in re-starting my photography.
Definitely a great consoling therapy,
Not completely to perfection,
But, doing it to my gratifying satisfaction.

Yes, there is so mush to write but to cut the story short. As Buddha expounded ” Life is uncertain but death is certain ” so we shall live on in whatever circumstances. Take life and death as one’s karma but live on positively – doing more good and lesser or no bad or evil deeds. Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu.

2012 in review   Leave a comment

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 19,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 4 Film Festivals
