My name is Lim (Surname) Soo Peng aged 64 years from George Town, Penang, Malaysia. George Town is declared as the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site together with Malacca. Having partially retired, I have more spare time to devote towards photography passionately since 2006.

Having loading up to 25,000 photographs to my original Spaces blogsite and later migrated to Skydrive or now known as OneDrive, I find that I do not enjoy the luxury of re-uploading so many of these past photographs again.     I’m glad that you are still so much into photography your passionate hobby and pastime. Very good for you. Help keeps your mind and body healthy & occupied.

    Thanks for taking my photos during my wedding (if you still remember… 😉 )

    Stay in touch. If you do come down to KL, do give me a ring or email. You can always stay at my house.

    In fact, you should make regular trip down to KL to meet all your Diethelm’s friends and take some photos there for a change. Won’t mind driving you around town.

      Yes I remember my friend – husband of Yvonne. She is still based in Bangkok?
      I suppose you shall be on your own business now.
      No problem, if I am in KL or PJ area. and thank you for your generous offer. That day I was commenting on the wonderful thing
      about internet that I can communicate with many friends and my son who is currently in US for 3 weeks. It is so easy but the speed of the
      broadband in my area is irratic but workable. It is very nice of you to remember Uncle Lim and to hear from you.

    I was looking for a hindu temple for my son’s wedding,when I came across this photo of the Mariamman temple in KL. Your upload was extremely generous and thoughtful. Thank you very much. By the l am writing this footnote from London and Mr Lim I was born and brought up in Penang too.

      I am not from Ipoh but I got these shots at a large garden behind one of the Temple Caves in Tambun. A large Buddhist cave Temple I cannot recall the name as I am English-educated. Hope this helps.

    I’ve just stumbled on your photos today. I only got to see a few, of the Hean Boo Thean Temple and Dhammikarama Burmese Temple, and I thought I’d just add a note here to let you know they are very nice!!
