Missing my old hacked blog at blogspot on Wayang or Chinese Opera   Leave a comment

I used to have a blog at blogspot.com on the subject of Wayang or Chinese Opera in Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese dialects. These are usually free street performances played at many Taoist and Buddhist Temples in and around George Town, Penang during various Dieties’ Birthday Celebrations and during the Fesival of the Hungry Ghosts. However, sad to say during a political tiff with Indonesia over some territorial area in August 2010, some so-called nationalistic cyber-terrorists from Indonesia hacked all my blogs including two religious blogs. Such overbearing bullying tactics of such species of humans cannot be tolerated as they thought they are superior to others. In actual fact they rank themselves as the lowest in the food chain! Poor innocent citizen suffer for such arrogant misdeeds of these pea-brained individuals.

Hopefully I can recover these blogs soon as these blogs have numerous photos and I shall not be able to upload again as I had spent endless hours on end to nurture these blogs to such blogs last year. I shall brand these hackers as cowards of the worst kind! The one who has the last laugh shall laugh best as the wheel of karma turns!

Beauty is formed from the broken pieces ( of coloured bowls )   1 comment

Answer: Beautiful objects for the Roof Ornaments were created from these broken pieces of coloured bowls for the Kew Leong Tong Lim Kongsi of Ah Quee Street, Penang. Presently the Lim Clansmen Temple is undergoing heritage conservation to replace the phoenix and figurines on the Temple’s roof which have the coloured mosaic-like pieces flaked off due to weathering and birds perching on these roof ornaments. These craftsmen from Minland China are breaking, cutting the pieces into shape and mounting these on cement-made objects. These are later mounted onto the roof of the Temple.
