Waterless Waterfall of Sri Perigi near Gurun, Kedah was seen as the current drought in the country. There is already declared water rationing in the States of Selangor and Negri Sembilan in central part of Peninsular Malaysia due to the very serious water shortage. If there is no rainfall for the next 2 months, the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia in States like Perlis, Kedah and Penang will also face the same fate of water rationing.

Yesterday, being Sunday, 17 March, 2013 was the day I need to meet up with Ban Seng to photoshoot at the Penang Botanic Garden. The car park was full and I have to around a few times until I get a parking lot near the main gate of the Garden – more of a nature park with many trees and shrubs. Taking out my macro lens, I shot a few macro shots and some wide-angled HDRs of the Garden. It was my usual habit in the past to shoot during week days as there were fewer people around. For Sundays, we can find the place full of people exercising and families enjoying the natural outdoors. After shooting the series of photos, I have to go back home as it was getting too bright and sunny. Just too hot to bear, the shearing heat of the sun was just unbearable.

This is a big park by the lake in the middle of Xiamen City, China. I am quite impressed with cleanliness regime of the lake in this park as one can clearly two cleaners in a boat cleaning the rubbish in the lake.
